Private Surf Lessons
Private lessons offer one-on-one instruction tailored for beginners to grasp the foundational skills of surfing. Suitable for 1 to 2 participants.
Group Surfing Lessons
Group Surf Lessons cater to groups of 3 or more, providing the same individualized attention as a one-on-one session.
Surf Coaching
Designed for intermediate to advanced surfers, these sessions offer targeted tips and techniques to elevate skills. We provide in-person video analysis for form correction and technique improvement, coupled with guidance for competition and off-water training.
North Myrtle Beach Location
To join our surf lessons near Cherry Grove Fishing Pier in North Myrtle Beach, look for the beach access just in front of the Prince Resort. Parking is straightforward: There is public parking at the intersection of lake and 34th street, and garage parking is also available.
Please meet us on the south side of the pier, which is to the right when facing the ocean, to avoid confusion with other lessons happening on the north side. Once you've parked, our instructor will meet you there. This location offers some of the best surfing conditions in the area, with consistent waves that make for an excellent learning experience.
*We also use the Sea Mountain Highway public access a portion of the time. We will be using it more this year due to construction at the pier, it has made parking difficult. If this location is needed we will contact you and let you know.
Myrtle Beach Location
Please Note: This location is only available upon request! We always recommend the lessons take place at our North Myrtle Beach location due to better wave conditions which offer a better opportunity for learning!
For a better surfing experience, we suggest heading to Cherry Grove Pier in North Myrtle Beach. It’s a little drive but you’ll find more consistent wave conditions there. Note that Myrtle Beach is preferable during low tide for more ideal waves.
Preparing For Your Lesson
Lessons are primarily held at Cherry Grove Pier, an ideal spot for surf lessons due to the shallow sandbars on all tides, and it is a much gentler wave. The pier is equipped with amenities including a restaurant, bar, showers, and restrooms.
What We Provide:
Surfboards for all participants.
A session beginning with a 5-minute stretch, followed by pop-up lesson & practice on the beach, etiquette in the water, & essential ocean safety instructions.
The surf instructor ensures everyone is ready before heading into the water, and regularly checks in to see if water or rest breaks are needed.
While rash guards are recommended for added comfort and protection, they are not mandatory.
